Yvan Fabing is a French-born director and photographer based in London, working with DIVISION for France and the United States. After six years as an art director in luxury advertising in Paris, Fabing relocated to London to assist renowned fashion photographer Sølve Sundsbø for two years, during which he began filming and editing videos on the side of Sundsbø's photo shoots. His 2015 fashion film "Garage" for Garage magazine was selected for the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors' Showcase at Cannes, nominated at D&AD for editing, and named among AdWeek's "3 Best Films" from that year's showcase. Fabing has directed campaigns for Lancôme featuring Zendaya, Lupita Nyong'o, and Lily Collins; Givenchy Live Irresistible Blossom Crush fragrance; Guerlain Terracotta Le Teint Glow and Abeille Royale; Hourglass Equilibrium; and Shiseido Ginza Tokyo. His fashion work includes projects for Fendi, Cartier, Vera Wang, Y-3, GAP, Jimmy Choo, Diesel Black Gold, and Ader Error. In 2024 he directed a 360-degree campaign for La Samaritaine Paris celebrating Paris-Venice connections. Known for blending striking cinematography with sophisticated visual effects, Fabing maintains an active practice at the intersection of fashion, beauty, and experimental filmmaking.
