Traktor is a Swedish filmmaking collective comprising five directors—Mats Lindberg, Sam Larsson, Pontus Löwenhielm, Patrik von Krusenstjerna, and Ole Sanders—alongside producers Richard Ulfvengren and Rani Melendez. Operating across Los Angeles, London, and Stockholm since the early 1990s, they have been twice officially named the most award-winning directors in the world. Their trophy case includes three Cannes Grand Prix (Diesel "Little Rock" 1997, Fox Sports, Tide "It's a Tide Ad" 2018), a Titanium Lion, twenty additional Cannes Lions, a D&AD Black Pencil, an Emmy for FedEx "Stick," and five Emmy nominations. They hold the rare distinction of winning USA Today's Ad Meter Number One three times at the Super Bowl—for FedEx "Stick," Tide 2018, and Rocket Mortgage 2022. Known for comedy rooted in craft and character, their signature approach features "innocents being chased by random stragglers and/or animate objects," from Reebok's belligerent belly on a tricycle to Nike's angry chicken. Their client roster spans Tide, LEGO, Nike, FedEx, Virgin Atlantic, Heineken, and Apple. Beyond commercials, they directed the feature Chain of Fools and iconic music videos including Basement Jaxx's "Where's Your Head At" and Madonna's Grammy-nominated "Die Another Day."
