Bio & background

Tore Frandsen is a Danish commercial director represented globally by new-land (London, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Copenhagen) and by Epoch Films in the U.S. since November 2025. Known for blending elevated cinematic craft with dry, observational humor, Frandsen has directed award-winning campaigns for the Danish Road Safety Council, Coca-Cola, LEGO, Carlsberg, Toyota, Netflix, HBO, Tesco, Green Flag, Trainline, VirginMedia, Maersk, and Sennheiser. His 2021 film "Helmet Has Always Been a Good Idea" earned a Grand Prix at both the Epica and Clio Awards, Gold at the British Arrows, and a Bronze Lion at Cannes. A former magician turned copywriter at JWT Denmark, Frandsen won his first Cannes Lion before age 20 and founded his own production company, Fandango Film, before joining BaconCPH and The Sweet Shop. His PSA work—including "FOMO Forever" (Vimeo Staff Pick: Best of the Year) and "Party Crashers"—showcases his ability to marry social impact with artistry. His 2023 Maersk "Discover New Paths" campaign employed cutting-edge LED volume technology to reposition the logistics giant through cinematic storytelling. A graduate of the Danish Advertising School and Copenhagen Film and Photo School, Frandsen is deeply collaborative and detail-oriented across story, casting, editing, and sound.
