Tom Emmerson is an English-French commercial director, writer and photographer from North London. He shot fashion stills for Burberry, Fila, Axel Arigato, Helmut Lang and Champion by age 18 before moving into directing. Commercial credits include multiple Hermès films—Horse & Cart, Collier de chien, Super Blanket, The Purrfect Square and The Kelly—plus House of Errors spots Urban Golf, Lavender and Penalty Kick, and Depop’s Doppelganger campaign. For Adidas he directed Originals and football work including The Race (OnePointFour Sport Silver) and a Predator boot launch with Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham and Jude Bellingham, alongside Jude Bellingham and JB x Originals films. For New Balance he wrote and directed the T500 Quiet Please film starring Real Madrid’s Endrick, model Gabriely Miranda and Jack Harlow—a foot-tennis match revealed inside a shoebox—and additional NB work including Gator Run. Ad Age named him a 2026 Creativity Awards Director to Watch; he has been nominated for Best New Director at the AICP Awards. He is represented in the US by Serial Pictures (joined 2025), with Business Club (UK/Sweden) and Colors (France); Serial and Business Club announced a 2026 US partnership with Emmerson as a kickoff director.
