Tim Miller is a filmmaker, animator, VFX artist, and commercial director who directed Deadpool (2016) and Terminator: Dark Fate (2019). He co-founded Venice-based Blur Studio and created Netflix’s Emmy-winning anthology Love, Death + Robots (2019–2025) and the series Secret Level (2024). With Jeff Fowler he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Short Film for Gopher Broke (2004). Blur delivered title sequences for David Fincher’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) and Thor: The Dark World (2013), plus CG shorts including Rockfish, Aunt Luisa, In the Rough, and A Gentlemen’s Duel. Commercially he is rostered at RESET (US/UK), with reel work for Apple (Fireball), Halo (Scanned), and Kraken Rum (Black Ink), and he directed the Batman: Arkham Origins “Bruce Wayne’s Journey” TV commercial. He has executive-produced the Sonic the Hedgehog films and Borderlands (2024).
