StyleWar is a Swedish directing collective founded by Oskar Holmedal and Martin Sjöström, setting the gold standard for technically ambitious commercial filmmaking through razor-sharp hyper-real detail, explosive color, and seamless integration of live action with subtle CG work. The collective evolved from a boutique design and animation studio into major players in the top echelon of commercial directors after their iconic music video for Moby's "In This World" earned them a spot in the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors' Showcase at Cannes 2003 and led directly to representation by SMUGGLER. Their extensive client roster spans Apple, Google, Coca-Cola, Lexus, Nike, Visa, Toyota, Samsung, Ford, and Reebok, among dozens of others. Their universally admired work for Apple's iPhone X, "Lazy Money" launch for Ally Bank with Anomaly NY, "Pop Up Book" film for Lexus, and Super Bowl campaign for Monday.com demonstrate their technical precision and visual storytelling prowess. StyleWar's music video "Keep Moving" for Bronson won UKMVA Best Lockdown Video, Best Music Video and Best Animation at the 1.4 Awards, and earned a spot on Creative Review's Best Music Video of the Year list. The collective divides responsibilities based on expertise and availability, allowing different members to lead depending on project demands while maintaining their signature Swedish mischievous spirit and obsessive attention to detail across every project.
