Simon Cahn is a Paris-based commercial director and filmmaker known for high-end fashion campaigns, music videos, and art-driven short films. working with DIVISION in France and the United States, he began directing at age 19 and has since built a portfolio spanning luxury brands including Hermès, Gucci, Dior, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, and Supreme. Cahn's breakthrough came in 2011 with the stop-motion short "Mourir Auprès de Toi," co-directed with Spike Jonze and selected for Cannes Critics' Week, as well as festivals in Locarno, London, and Dallas. His commercial work blends retro aesthetics with cinematic craft, drawing on French New Wave influences, Super 16mm film, saturated color palettes, and vintage editing techniques. He has directed campaigns for Adidas, Google, Apple Pay, McDonald's France, Moët & Chandon, and Lacoste, and music videos for Disclosure, A$AP Rocky, Major Lazer, and Danny Brown. His 2022 Gucci x Adidas campaign, shot at Paris's Paradis Latin cabaret, showcased his signature blend of sports luxury and nostalgic cinema. Cahn's 2018 thriller short "Madame" won multiple festival awards. He previously served as Art Director for French magazine Jalouse and is currently developing his first feature film, "OSCAR."
