Scott Perry is a New York-based commercial director and former Creative Director and head of video at THE FADER, where he also guided brand partnerships through in-house agency Cornerstone. He moved from music journalism, MTV/XM-adjacent media, and hands-on artist films, concert recaps, and mini-documentaries into commercials and branded content. Trade coverage frames his work as pairing documentary instinct with elevated cinematic craft, including shaping archival material, phone footage, and mixed formats into cohesive narratives. Credits include Nike (Queens Lead and projects with Serena Williams), ASICS Gel-Lyte V, Diesel, Droga5’s award-winning New York Times Independent Journalism for an Independent Life series, Google, Amazon, Beats by Dre, McDonald’s, YouTube Music, Jack Daniel’s, New Balance, Soundcloud, Under Armour, Apple, Vogue, L.L.Bean, and GetYourGuide. He showran multiple seasons of Good Morning Vogue, producing live Fashion Week programming across New York, London, Milan, and Paris. In 2026 he directed a global GetYourGuide TV and social campaign with Preacher. He has described a recent move into more cinematic, dialogue-driven work while keeping documentary DNA as an anchor. He is working with JOJX in the U.S. (2025) and KODE for the UK and Amsterdam (2026).
