Sasha Nathwani is a London-born writer-director of Iranian and Indian heritage, working with Caviar for commercials and music videos across its UK, European, and US rosters (US signing September 2025). A NYU Tisch graduate, he built early visibility directing music videos as Sashinski, earning consecutive Brit Awards best-video nominations. Commercial credits center on emotionally grounded, character-led work: New Balance’s global “Impatience Is A Virtue” with Jaden Smith and Coco Gauff (Endorphin Award); Royal Navy short “Raj’s Story,” about the service’s first Sikh submariner (One Point Four and Channel 4 Diversity Award); On Running’s observational drone one-shot “Keep On Running”; Goal Studio’s “Live The Goal”; National Autistic Society’s “It’s How You Show Up,” released on World Autism Awareness Day via Don’t Panic; and the Booker Prize Shortlist Films 2025 campaign. His debut feature Last Swim, produced by Caviar London after he joined in 2022, premiered in Berlinale Generation 14plus 2024, winning the Crystal Bear and an AG Kino-Gilde award before BFI London Film Festival play and UK/Ireland theatrical release. He is active with Free The Work and POCC.
