Sam Hargrave is a feature director and stunt coordinator represented commercially by RESET in the US and Rogue Films in the UK. He directed Netflix's Extraction (2020) and Extraction 2 (2023), which became record-breaking hits and showcased his signature long-take action sequences, including a nearly seamless oner where he operated the handheld camera himself. Before directing, Hargrave served as Chris Evans' stunt double on the Captain America and Avengers films, earning five Taurus World Stunt Awards and a SAG Award. He coordinated fights and stunts on Captain America: Civil War, Atomic Blonde, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Wolf Warrior 2, Deadpool 2, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, and was Second Unit Director on seven episodes of The Mandalorian Season 2 and The Book of Boba Fett. His commercial work includes BMW Films' The Calm and PUBG's Ground of Honor: Rondo (2023). Hargrave is currently in production on Matchbox: The Movie for Apple and Skydance, starring John Cena and Jessica Biel, set for summer 2026 release, and is prepping Extraction 3 for a 2026 shoot.
