Rudi Rosenberg is a Paris-based director who brings documentary-influenced naturalism and comedic wit to narrative-driven commercial work. A La Sorbonne literature and cinema graduate, Rosenberg won the San Sebastian Film Festival New Directors competition in 2015 with debut feature 'The New Kid,' then premiered second feature 'Words of Love' at Cannes 2026 Un Certain Regard. In advertising, Rosenberg built a five-year partnership with Intermarché and Romance Paris, creating emotionally resonant films like 'Je t'aime trop' (2018) and 'Et moi? Et moi? Et moi?' (2021), the latter part of a campaign winning five Cannes Lions and Effie Grand Prix honors in France and Europe. For Italian supermarket Esselunga via SMALL New York, Rosenberg directed a trilogy of narrative spots—'The Peach,' 'The Walnut,' 'The Carrot'—built around the tagline 'Your groceries are never just groceries.' Additional clients include Apple (iPhone XR 'One For All' via Publicis Conseil, 2019), Orange 5G (iPhone 12 launch campaign via Publicis Conseil, 2021), PokerStars (comedy spots 'Poker Face' and 'Bluff' via Romance, 2018), Adidas ('Superstar 2026'), British Vogue ('Alexa on Alexa: Dating Alexa Chung,' Gold YDA 2017), Volkswagen, and Total. Rosenberg emphasizes natural lighting, warm aesthetics, and emotional restraint, explaining: 'I am very fond of documentaries, and I think emotion emerges through a sense of authenticity, not by trying to overplay things.'
