Ross Allen is a British-born, Vancouver-based commercial director working globally across automotive, sports, healthcare, and lifestyle. With a First Class BA (Honours) in Film and Video from Norwich University of the Arts and over a decade in London and Sydney agencies (Leo Burnett, Taxi, Rethink), Ross transitioned to directing in 2017 and has since built a portfolio spanning major brands. His automotive work includes multiple Audi campaigns (e-tron, A5 Global Launch, Living Progress Stories with Chris Hadfield), Ford Explorer, and Mitsubishi x England Rugby. In sports, he directed Garmin's "We've Got Your Game" golf campaign, TaylorMade "New Dawn," Cleveland, Wilson Staff, and the Canadian Paralympic Team's "Greatness Moves Us" for Paris 2024. Healthcare clients include CanadaHelps ("Heartbeat of the Nation," earning a YDA nomination and Vimeo Staff Pick), Sinai Health, Endeavor Health, and Houston Methodist. His documentary-driven approach merges raw authenticity with conceptual imagery, capturing the human spirit in moments between action and cut. Known as an actors' director, Ross builds worlds with precision while giving talent freedom to explore. Co-founder of GOOD-IDEA production company, he is currently working with Slash (U.S.) and Revolver Films (Canada).
