Renee Maria Osubu is a British-Nigerian director and photographer based in London, represented commercially by Somesuch in the US and UK, with music video representation in the UK and commercial representation in France through Frenzy Paris. She is known for documentary-driven storytelling centered on community, identity, race, and migration. Her photo series 'Dear Philadelphia' evolved into an Oscar and BAFTA-qualifying short documentary that won Best Short Documentary at Blackstar Film Festival (2021) and premiered at Sundance, with work now held in the Philadelphia Art Museum permanent collection.
