Olivia Lang is a São Paulo-born director represented globally by Landia across LATAM, the US, and Europe. She blends fictional and documentary storytelling to capture urban culture, informed by her immersion in skateboarding, sneaker communities, and Hip-Hop. Her path began with hands-on training—editing at a post-production house, then nearly three years producing rapid-turnaround video content for Abril Publishing Company's magazines before transitioning to freelance directing and cinematography in 2016. Her commercial portfolio includes Nike, Converse, Netflix, Dove, PUMA, Marriott, Meta, Coca-Cola, Michelob Ultra, WNBA, Levi's, and Red Bull, collaborating with Wieden+Kennedy, Ogilvy, and Wunderman Thompson. Her most celebrated project, 'Lea' for Kotex/Intimus (via Ogilvy São Paulo, produced by MoonHeist), won a Gold Lion at Cannes 2023 and Merit at The One Show 2023, portraying pioneering female soccer referee Lea Campos and her 1967 fight against menstruation stigma and gender discrimination. Lang's work centers equity, female progress, and social justice themes, with technical foundations in post-production and a visual language rooted in street culture and sports storytelling.
