Nora Kirkpatrick is a director, writer, and musician whose commercial work blends bold production design with comedic storytelling. She made her advertising debut directing Bud Light Seltzer for Wieden+Kennedy New York in 2020, becoming the first woman to direct for the Bud Light brand. That campaign, shot with DP Matty Libatique and production designer Andrew Clark during the pandemic, established her visual approach. She has since directed for Nestlé, Duracell, Uber One, Rakuten, and Peloton. Kirkpatrick's background includes seven years touring internationally as a founding member of Grammy Award-winning band Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, performing at Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Glastonbury. She has written and directed series for CBS, Comedy Central, and Hulu, served as staff writer on Amazon's Emmy-nominated Daisy Jones & The Six, and helmed episode 712 of ABC's The Goldbergs. Her feature directorial debut Couples Weekend premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival and was released by Vertical Entertainment in 2026. She is currently in post-production on Whodunnit for BuzzFeed Studios starring Lana Condor. Kirkpatrick is working with Furlined (US & UK), Steam Films (Canada), and Spindle (UK & Amsterdam).
