Nina Holmgren is a Danish commercial and branded-entertainment director with a background as a former champion athlete and fine artist. Her breakthrough short I Want You to Panic, commissioned by NOWNESS and produced through Bacon, won Gold at the Cannes Lions Young Director Awards and was acquired into MoMA’s permanent archive. She has also received D&AD Best New Director, AICP Best Visual Style, further Cannes Lions recognition, and a nomination for the ADV European Women Directors Award. Commercial credits include Beats by Dre’s “Move How You Want” (SMUGGLER / Translation, 2022), a movement-and-culture film set to Vince Staples’ “Magic” with Naomi Osaka, Staples, Kaia Gerber, and Quenlin Blackwell; Adidas work including a Soft Citizen soccer-superstar-family film and Smuggler’s Adidas x FIFA World Cup 2022 “Family Reunion”; and Mercedes-Benz “Defining Class” for Anorak Film and antoni berlin, a Matthew Macfadyen-led luxury-auto piece that reframes Benz iconography as spy-tech production design. Award biographies also associate her with Lionel Messi, Karim Benzema, and Stormzy. Her evidenced brand roster further includes Google, H&M, and Vogue. In May–June 2026 she joined Business Club @ Serial Pictures for U.S. representation.
