Nico Postiglione is a Chilean director working across feature films and commercial production. He is working with Virgen Films and Oriental Films for LATAM and US markets, and is part of the NOT collective. His debut feature 'Immersion' (2021) premiered at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and won Best Actor for Alfredo Castro at Punta del Este International Film Festival, plus Best Film from the Uruguayan Film Critics Association. The psychological thriller, shot at Lake Lanalhue, screened at Miami Film Festival, Chicago Latino Film Festival, Moro Spanish Film Festival, Cinélatino, Gramado Festival, Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, and Torino Film Festival. Amazon Prime Video acquired the film for 200+ countries. His second feature 'Todos los Males' (The Evil That Binds Us), a Chilean-Mexican co-production with Oro Films, Whisky Content, and Frame, premiered in competition at Fantastic Fest and was selected for Cannes. FilmSharks handles international sales. In advertising, Postiglione worked as editor on Lambda Films' 'Pull In Imagination' for Genesis. His work examines class conflict and social fracture in contemporary Chile through genre frameworks.
