Bio & background

Nick Gordon is a British commercial director working with Somesuch in the US and UK, with additional representation through Anorak Film, Iconoclast France, and Lark Creative. Known for exceptional comic timing and a Hollywood sensibility, Gordon has built a career creating work with timeless mass appeal across major global brands. His work for Volkswagen includes the noted "Alien" and "BornConfid" spots, while his Vodafone campaigns feature "Why Wait" and "Sledge." He has directed multiple Powerade campaigns including "Pause is Power" and "Anthem," and created IKEA's "Hostile Home" and the World Food Program's "Choir." Gordon's 2018 robotics campaign "The Decision" for Anki through Wieden+Kennedy Portland and his 2026 Philadelphia Cream Cheese launch introducing the brand character Phillyboy showcase his range from tech-driven storytelling to character-based narrative. He has won five D&AD Yellow Pencils and was named one of Campaign's Top 10 Directors in 2016. His festival-selected short films have screened at Clermont-Ferrand, Edinburgh, and New York Film Festival. Gordon is based between London and Sicily.
