Mischa Rozema is a Dutch director specializing in visually ambitious mixed-media narratives that integrate live-action, animation, and VFX to craft immersive alternate realities. A graduate of HKU University of the Arts Utrecht in Industrial Design and Image & Media Technology (1997), Rozema co-founded PostPanic (now The Panics) in Amsterdam, pioneering in-house VFX workflows that enabled high-concept commercial work for brands including PlayStation, Liberty Global, Google, MINI, and Nike. His 2018 spot 'A Report of Connected Events' for Liberty Global won the Grand Prix at the Dutch Creativity Awards alongside Clio, Ciclope, SHOTS, and Art of Creativity honors. PlayStation's 'The Fall' (2019, adam&eveDDB) earned three British Arrows nominations, while Free Fire's 'BEATz Go Boom' music video won a Bronze Lion at Cannes Lions 2022. Rozema's 2012 OFFF Festival titles 'Year Zero' garnered a One Show Gold Pencil and Golden Drum awards. His sci-fi concept short 'Sundays' (2015) sparked a Hollywood bidding war, resulting in a Warner Bros. feature deal. Now working with Riff Raff Films (UK/US), Stink Films (Czech Republic), and TPF (Germany), Rozema continues to push boundaries in branded entertainment and long-form storytelling.
