Matthew Dillon Cohen is a New Jersey-born, New York-based director and photographer whose commercial work centers personality-driven, style-conscious storytelling with vivid color and cinematic realness. A self-taught filmmaker who began in music journalism and music-video producing, he signed to Biscuit Filmworks for US and UK representation in 2024 and is also rostered with Anorak in Germany. Brand credits include Converse (Global Spring/Summer 2023; Love Fearless), Prada SS19, Ralph Lauren (“When Gigi Met Gigi”), Adidas Milan, Nike x Foot Locker, New Balance, Vogue, Natural Diamond Council, Citi, Sky Express, Ross, Facebook (“Deaf Hoops”), Nowness, and Benjamin Moore. His highest-profile spot to date is Rocket’s Super Bowl LIX “Own the Dream” (2025), a 60-second homecoming montage set to a reimagined “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” paired with a live in-stadium singalong; produced through Biscuit with MIRIMAR, it extended into a long-form film and earned Cannes Lions Gold (Media Execution). He also directed Benjamin Moore’s 35mm “Timeless” chapter for the See The Love platform (agency FIG), an intimate multi-year sibling story. Trade coverage repeatedly cites his ability to pack detailed, moving narrative into short runtimes.
