Matt Morgan is a Brooklyn-based commercial director and photographer and co-founder of New York production and post company Yacht Club. He built his craft through cinematography, editing, and graphic design, producing work defined by bold color, precise composition, graphical integration, and smooth pacing at tabletop scale. Morgan specializes in food, beverage, and product filmmaking—rich pours, fizz, cheese pulls, and other practical appetite moments, extended with CGI when needed. He frequently steers projects through post, covering editing, motion design, and VFX so the finish stays cohesive, and often pairs motion with stills photography to lock a campaign look. Trade coverage positions him as the tabletop specialist opposite longtime collaborator and co-founder Jake Ladehoff, with whom he co-directs; their shared path runs from teenage film projects at a Texas fine-arts academy through Morgan’s NYU film studies and the Bushwick launch of Yacht Club with partners including EP Joe DePasquale and post lead Zach Law. Evidenced advertiser work includes Chick-fil-A, Baskin-Robbins, Blaze Pizza (a multi-unit Amp campaign mixing XR/virtual production, food stage, live action, and stills), Papa John’s, Burger King, Etsy, Crown Royal, Busch Light, Wegman's, Jollibee, Vitamix, and Vans.
