Matt Hoffman is a commercial director with two decades of experience in sports advertising and storytelling, particularly known for his extensive Nike collaborations. Working with his brother Mark Hoffman, Matt began directing in 2006 on Nike's "Joga Bonito" World Cup campaign. Their partnership produced some of Nike's most celebrated work, including "Jump Rope" for Nike Surfing—which earned an AICP Show honor and permanent placement in MoMA's ad collection—and "Today Was A Good Day" for Nike Skateboarding featuring Paul Rodriguez, which won Cannes Lion and Clio Awards. His directing portfolio spans major sports and lifestyle brands including Gatorade, Michelob Ultra, ESPN, Capital One, Nissan, TaylorMade, and Barilla featuring Roger Federer. Matt contributed to a 360 LED wall installation with Kobe Bryant and Gwen Stefani that helped secure the 2028 Olympic bid for Los Angeles. Before directing, he held a BA in Theater Performance from Southern Oregon University and starred in national commercials for brands including Heineken, Honda, Target, and Home Depot. The Hoffman brothers gained recognition through SHOOT's New Directors Showcase during their harvest films tenure. In 2016, they launched Hoffman Bros. production company, later joined Quad in 2018, and Matt currently directs through Hungry Man.
