Matilda Finn is a London-based director, photographer, and creative artist known for surrealist visual style and cinematic storytelling. After starting in fashion photography, she transitioned to filmmaking, bringing a photographic sensibility to motion work. Her BT "Hope United" campaign—featuring Marcus Rashford, Gareth Bale, and Lucy Bronze tackling online abuse—won Silver at the British Arrows 2022 and a D&AD Graphite Pencil. Her Samsung Galaxy S22 fashion film starring Charli XCX and designer Charles Jeffrey Loverboy, shot entirely at night, earned a Silver Shark Award for Best Original Music Composition. Additional commercial clients include Nike ("Awaken Your Madness" with Musiala), KFC, Afterpay, Leonard Cheshire, and Médecins du Monde. In music videos, Finn has collaborated with The Weeknd ("Gasoline," for which one of her on-set stills became the album cover), Jay Rock, Obongjayar, Danny Brown, Apparat, Bicep, Brodinski, Bob Moses, and Rosie Lowe. She won UK Music Video Awards Best New Director in 2017 and 2018, Shots New Director of the Year 2019, Ciclope Gold 2020, and Kinsale Sharks Gold 2019. Finn constructs work that blends reality with dreamscape symbolism, drawing inspiration from music and childhood imagination.
