Marc Reisbig is a commercial film and animation director who mixes live action with animation and VFX in a magic-realist register. Educated at Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art—where his graduation film Time is Running Out played dozens of festivals—he is working with 1stAveMachine (US/UK and Europe/North America) and Bacon (Norway/Scandinavia). Trade coverage highlights irreverent Nordic humour and surreal comedy alongside warmer cinematic work: Elkjøp’s Paranoid (scandi-noir mixed-media pastiche for the retailer’s returns line); Jose Cuervo’s Date More Human (real robots performing an AI-written first-date script with Miguel Espada for Mekanism Canada); Walmart’s Growing Up and America’s Cart (anthemic multi-age family performance); and Infinitum’s Reverse Recycling (photoreal yet surreal VFX film for Norway’s bottle-and-can scheme, with Anti). LBB also ties him to Ikea, United Airlines, Sony PlayStation, Facebook, Microsoft, Volkswagen, Kirkens Bymisjon, KLP, Citroën, and Frooti. He is treatment-forward and experimental—proof-of-concept films, GIFs, stills tests, virtual production, in-camera problem-solving—and protects the twist or human insight that makes a script special.
