Luke Jaden is a Detroit-based director recognized for cinematic, emotionally driven commercial and narrative work. Named Filmsupply's Best New Filmmaker in 2024 and shortlisted for the Cannes Young Director Award (documentary) the same year, Jaden earned a spot in SHOOT Magazine's 2023 New Directors Showcase for his Ford 'Life Elevated' campaign. His automotive portfolio includes multi-project relationships with Ford ('Life Elevated,' 'Promised Land'), Honda, and Subaru ('Finley'), and he has directed for Dove ('The Face of 10'), Zara ('Sisters,' shot on 16mm and 35mm film), Bose, Carhartt ('Time'), and Huggies. Advocacy clients include Sandy Hook Promise, Moms Demand Action ('Back-2-School'), PETA ('Mother's Milk'), and Heroic Hearts Project. Jaden's narrative credits feature collaborations with Oscar-nominated actors LaKeith Stanfield ('King Ripple'), Barkhad Abdi ('Wolf Who Cried Boy'), and Noah Jupe ('My Pretty Pony,' adapted from Stephen King). His feature 'BOO!' was co-produced with Automatik and Voltage Pictures. Rooted in documentary practice, Jaden prioritizes research, spontaneity, and working with non-actors, especially children. His personal documentary 'Hemingway,' chronicling his child's birth, exemplifies his willingness to capture intimate, vulnerable human experiences with atmospheric imagery and emotional authenticity.
