Lucy Bridger is a London-based writer-director of understated commercial and short-form work centered on intimate human performance. She is represented in North America by Sparks Productions, shoots UK commercials through Agile Films, is rostered with Rubberduck in Ireland, and is signaled for film/TV via Fran Devas at Independent Talent. Her Refuge domestic-abuse film “Hide and Seek” earned Gold at LIA, Silver at Creative Circle, Bronze at Ciclope and a D&AD Shortlist. Cadbury Fingers’ “Sign with Fingers Big and Small” (with the National Deaf Children’s Society, via VCCP)—cast with a native BSL lead and her real mother, with heavy pre-vis so the shoot could prioritize performance—won Silver at the British Arrows 2023. The Diana Award anti-bullying film “Back To School” (Revolt/Agile, 2023) was shortlisted at the British Arrows 2024 and named a 2024 ALF Premio Cinema finalist. Portfolio credits also include Cadbury family spots, Dove “Hard Knocks,” a Toyota suite (Testing, Fries, Teddy, Parking, Drive It Like You Own It), Breast Cancer Now, Give A Kidney, Sage “Making Tax Digital,” and Home-Start London’s “Cradle.” Festival short Mothering (2019) took Best British Short at London Short Film Festival, Kinsale Sharks and UK Film Festival and played Slamdance. Craft signals emphasize casting, improvisation, silence, and a photographic frame between documentary and heightened realism.
