Lake Buckley is a Brooklyn-based director and designer rostered at 1stAveMachine. She holds an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design, where she has served as faculty and guest critic, and an honors degree from Oberlin College. Commercial directing credits include Lipton (Boat), Instagram (True Stories Japan), Bumble (Dessert), Google Pixel 3a, Frooti (Alia), and a Webby Awards intro. In 2022 she directed a documentary-style Meta Reality Labs piece with SpecialGuest, also credited as co-production designer. She previously served as Creative Director at Brooklyn hybrid agency-production company SpecialGuest, with agency clients including Facebook, Google, YouTube, and National Geographic.
