Kevin Foley is a Toronto-based DGA commercial and branded-content director focused on elite sports, emotionally driven brand storytelling, and purpose-led film. A former Division I baseball player at the University of Pittsburgh, he is known for high-craft athlete portraits and resilience narratives. His documentary short Never Say Die, on golfer Jason Day, earned a 2016 Sports Emmy nomination (Outstanding Short Sports Documentary) and a Clio Film Craft Bronze. He co-directed the IOC’s Tokyo 2021 global launch Stronger Together with Mark Zibert—athlete films including Usain Bolt, Naomi Osaka, and Tony Hawk. Not A Gun for Courageous Conversations (Goodby Silverstein & Partners) took a D&AD Pencil, LIA Gold, AICP Idea, Clio Integrated Silver, Andy Gold, and Ad Age A-List Best Work for Good. Multi-year Air Canada work includes Invictus Games (Clios Social Good), Paris 2024 Ticket to Dream (CLIO Sports Direction and Editing Golds, D&AD Wood Pencil for Cinematography, AICP Editing winner), and Milano Cortina 2026 Tyler’s Walk (AICP Editorial and Montage winners). Other recent pillars include Army National Guard Uncommon Is Calling, Morgan Stanley’s Justin Rose and First Tee films, GE, Mercedes-Benz, Toronto Maple Leafs Don’t Blink, and Toronto Blue Jays Opening Day. He signed with Supply & Demand (US, March 2023) and Spy Films (Canada, June 2025).
