Johan Renck is a Swedish director whose career spans prestige television, high-end commercials, music videos, and features. He directed all five episodes of HBO's *Chernobyl* (2019), winning the Emmy, DGA, and BAFTA for Outstanding Directing; the series earned 10 Emmys and 9 BAFTAs total. Earlier episodic work includes three *Breaking Bad* episodes and pilots for *Vikings* and Netflix's *Bloodline*. He co-created ABBA Voyage, the London live show featuring digital avatars. His commercial roster includes Chanel Nº5, Prada, Bvlgari, Nike, META, Lexus, Perrier, and Pepsi; his Karl Lagerfeld for H&M campaign won a Cannes Silver Lion, Grand Prix at Eurobest, and Gold at Epica. Music video collaborations include David Bowie's "Blackstar" and "Lazarus," Madonna's "Hung Up," Kylie Minogue's "Love at First Sight," and Lana Del Rey's H&M "Blue Velvet."
