Jocelyn & Dawn (Jocelyn DeBoer and Dawn Luebbe) are a Spirit Award–nominated writing and directing duo represented for commercials by Biscuit Filmworks in the US and UK. Creative partners since 2015, they met as longtime mainstage sketch and improv performers at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Their debut feature Greener Grass, which they wrote and directed, premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, earned a Film Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best First Screenplay, and reached audiences via IFC and Hulu. They have directed episodes of TruTV’s Adam Ruins Everything and shorts that played more than 70 festivals, including a 2017 SXSW writing award. Biscuit signed the pair in December 2020 as their first commercial representation. Advertising credits include dry-wit GEICO work (Geckosaurus, The Geckening), Quip, Oregon Health Authority and Science Moms PSAs, Google x Barbie with Megan Stalter, Wayfair’s Wayborhood campaign with Kelly Clarkson, Netflix x Amazon FireTV, Booking.com x Netflix, Skittles, Little Caesars, Oculus Quest 2, Simply Juice, The Gym Group, Vattenfall with Cara Delevingne, Very, and Coca-Cola. Commercial work centers on performance- and dialogue-led comedy with cinematic polish and fashion-lifestyle flair.
