Joana Colomar is a Barcelona-based commercial and music-video director working with Primo for LATAM and Europe. She is a professor of videoclip at the University of Vic and a MArteLive music-video juror. She came up through Spain’s production scene, including early casting for CANADA, and was spotlighted in 2012 by Young Director Award / 1.4 as unsigned Spanish talent for her Maïa video, already working in a storyboarded, fable-inflected register with nature, masks, and staged “magical moments.” Her most visible recent brand film is Kia Europe’s Soundscapes (April 2025; INNOCEAN Berlin / RadicalMedia Berlin, service production Primo Content), a pair of short documentary pieces in which the Kia EV9’s sensing systems turn landscape into music for passengers with vision loss. LBB’s High Five (February 2026) cited the work for treating audio as access rather than decoration. Other evidenced brand credits include Porcelanosa’s “Unforgettable” (2024) and a Bimba y Lola Christmas campaign (body credit; title metadata conflicts). Parallel music-video work includes Valeria Castro’s “La Soledad” (2025), collaborations with Giorgio Lorente, Sidonie, Maïa Vidal, and Jorge Drexler’s “Derrumbe.” Descriptions cast her approach as poetic and intimate, converting emotion into images of sensitivity and force. Major global advertising awards are not yet evidenced.
