Bio & background

JC Feyer is a Brazilian commercial director working with Hungry Man in the United States, United Kingdom, and Brazil. Since beginning his career in 2002, JC has directed campaigns for OI, VIVO, TIM, CLARO, ITAÚ, BRADESCO, RENAULT, GM, GWM, McDonald's, Nestlé, Ypê, Natura, O Boticário, VALE, and The Climate Reality Project, collaborating with agencies including AFRICA, VMLY&R, W-MCANN, OGILVY, BBH, DPZ&T, and GALERIA.ag. His McDonald's "Méqui" campaign featured real consumer stories filmed in a near-documentary style, while his 2023 Ypê "Clean Appeal" work demonstrated technical mastery through entirely practical macro and microscopic filming techniques using Canon and Laowa lenses, RED Helium, Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro 12K, and Chronos HD cameras—rejecting CGI in favor of in-camera choreography with technocrane, Panther dolly, and Steadicam. JC's work has earned a Cannes Gold Lion (2015, "Everyone is Gay"), Grand Clio ("The Refugee Tree"), D&AD Graphite Pencil, and D&AD shortlists in 2023. He began as an assistant director at 19, collaborating with experimental auteur Julio Bressane on features including "Days of Nietzsche in Turin" (2001). His 2006 short film "Ballad of Two Little Girls from Botafogo" won first place at AXN Film Festival and reached over 11 million viewers across Latin America. JC also directed the feature thriller "O Rastro" (2016), co-financed by MGM's Orion and distributed by Imagem Filmes.
