Jared Lapidus is an LA-based commercial and entertainment director-writer whose comedy practice grew from New York sketch culture and an editor’s timing. A Long Island native and NYU Tisch graduate, he broke through with sketch group Reverse Cowboys before a run of brand comedy. Coverage frames him as a dialogue- and performance-driven comedy specialist, with work for TurboTax, Little Caesars, OREO, Verizon, A&W, Scotts, Quilted Northern, Triscuit, Starbucks, Google, Pepsi and others. Credits include Super Bowl pre-game TurboTax spots with Cris Collinsworth and Rodney Harrison; Starbucks Iced Energy’s “Eye of Seth Meyers”; Google x NBCU Hallmark-parody holiday trailers “Sleigh My Name,” “The Naughty Lister” and “The Gift EXchange”; Green River Whiskey’s 2025 ghost comedy; e.l.f.
