Jarbas Agnelli is a Brazilian multimedia director, composer, and former art director currently working with Hungry Man in the US, UK, and Brazil. He spent 13 years at top Brazilian agencies MPM, DPZ, and W/Brasil under legendary creative Washington Olivetto, winning multiple Cannes Gold and Silver Lions and becoming the only Brazilian to win the Clio Grand Prix for campaigns including Fnac and Época. In 2002, Agnelli founded AD Studio in São Paulo, a production company integrating full production, post, 3D animation, CGI, and music composition under one roof, which he ran for two decades. Over his career, he has directed more than 700 productions for brands including Volkswagen, Honda, HBO, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Johnson & Johnson, Globo Network, Itaú, and Natura. Agnelli composes and produces soundtracks for most of his films, performs as electronic act Furio, and runs his own label Birds Music. His 2009 viral short "Birds on the Wires"—transcribing birds on power lines into musical notation—drew nearly a million Vimeo views, global press coverage from CNET and The Guardian, and led to two TEDx talks and speaking engagements at Singularity University. His experimental shorts have earned repeated Vimeo Staff Pick recognition. Work has collected close to one hundred awards including Cannes Lions, Clio, London International Awards finalist recognition, four MTV Brazil wins including Best Director, and honors from the New York Festival, Andy Awards, El Ojo, and Cyclope.
