India Sleem is a British director and photographer based in Los Angeles, known for vibrant, human-centric storytelling that centers diverse communities and mixed-race identity. She has directed spots for Nike, Apple, McDonald's, Fenty, Gap, Olay, Hinge, adidas, and Athleta, among others. Her McDonald's "Weddings" campaign and Hinge "Can't Believe We Met on Hinge" series showcase her documentary-informed approach and strong color palettes. Sleem's Olay spot starring Sha'Carri Richardson and her Nike Air Force 40th Anniversary work—an AICP Show finalist in 2023—demonstrate her casting skill and empathetic lens. A 2019 Young Guns Winner for her film "The Game" and photo series for Dazed & Confused, Sleem also won a 2026 Clio Award for Don Julio's "Por Amor." Her debut short "Crusts," a semi-autobiographical coming-of-age story, premiered at the BFI London Film Festival in 2025.
