Humbi Entress is a Winterthur, Switzerland–based commercial director who spent six years making snowboard films worldwide before turning to Greenland adventure documentaries. His first major advertising assignment for Greenland Tourism earned festival recognition and led into commercial work. Roster and trade coverage frame him as a director of epic outdoor films that integrate non-actors into natural surroundings so performances read as genuine rather than staged. Evidenced clients include Mercedes-Benz (VISION EQXX roadmovie and docu-series “The Extra Mile”), ZDF (Wintersport and Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games branding), Swisscom (Gold Edi–winning “Clash”; Cannes Lions/Ciclope/LIA-bronze “Snow Drawings”), BKW (“The Home of Energy,” Cannes Corporate Media & TV silver dolphin and a carte-blanche he has cited as a style breakthrough), Coop Naturaplan (special Edi), Morshynska (Ukrainian Creative Award golds), Billa, Aldi Süd, Mammut, Visa (Iga Świątek), Julius Baer, Santander, Red Bull, Heineken, and a broad DACH retail and finance slate. His 2023 short Demons, shot against a melting glacier with contemporary dancers, has won at Cannes World Film Festival, Berlin Indie, Brussels Capital, and Short Film Factory. He works in German and English and is signed with Bonaparte (US, December 2023), Trinity Agency Hamburg, Stories (Switzerland), and Das Rund (Austria).
