Humans is the London-based directing duo of Thom Whitaker and Danielle Outhwaite Noël, working with Riff Raff Films in the US and UK. Before transitioning to directing, they spent eight years as creative directors at Mother, earning 5 Cannes Lions, 8 D&AD pencils, 5 British Arrows, and 10 Creative Circles for campaigns including IKEA's "Playin' With My Friends" and "Silence the Critics." Since joining Riff Raff, they've directed spots for Toyota ("Get In," "Fish vs Fisherman"), JCPenney ("Airplane," "Pickleball," "Standing Desk," "Ropa Vieja"), Cash App (featuring Serena Williams and Odell Beckham Jr in "Ink," "Payday," "Birthday," "League"), Sprite ("Heat Happens"), BOSCH ("Night Eyes"), Dalstrong, Histallay, and Debenhams. Their music video for D Double E ("Fresh N Clean") was selected by BFI's BUG showcase and named one of the year's best comedy videos by Promo News. They've also directed Shane Codd's "Get Out My Head." Known for wry humor, strong performances, and visual craft, Humans combine creative strategy with technical execution.
