Holly Hunter is a London-based commercial director working with Riff Raff Films in the US and UK, having joined their Nursery of Evil emerging talent roster in December 2025. Before directing, she served as an art director at Wieden+Kennedy, crafting campaigns for Nike, TK Maxx, Lurpak, Sainsbury's, and Sprite. Her transition to directing gained validation in November 2023 when her debut short 'Banana Boat'—a screwball comedy about British class tensions at a holiday resort—won Best Honorary Film at the Prince Charles Cinema after being selected for Yarns Film Festival funding from thousands of submissions. Since signing with Riff Raff, she has directed spots for John Lewis, TKMaxx, and Marshall's. Her work blends surreal wit with cartoon-like energy and fast-paced craft, drawing from art direction roots and New Romantic aesthetics. A multi-hyphenate creator, Hunter writes, performs, animates stop-motion, and has been shortlisted for Channel 4's New Comedy Writers scheme. She self-directed the music video 'Ho Ho Ho (The Christmas Number One)' in which she also starred, styled, and choreographed.
