Henri & Sebastian are a commercial directing duo known for high-energy mixed-media work blending live action, animation, and VFX. Longtime friends from the same high school, they entered the industry on complementary paths—Sebastian as a post-production supervisor and CG producer, Henri as a graphic designer and art director in film and advertising—before uniting as directors and building an international portfolio through 1stAveMachine (including 1stAveBA) and other partners. Signature spots include Oreo “Cookie People” (with The Martin Agency, in collaboration with Morgan Harary), LEGO Cube/Friends Cubes and LEGO Dots films, Facebook/Meta “Pass the Board” (multi-country skateboarding including Ghana), Gatorade’s CG-heavy “Be Like Mike” remix and “The Way To Be Great,” WhatsApp “Avatars,” Microsoft “Getting Around,” Sanofi “Screen It Like You Mean It,” Desperados “Dance Club,” Takis Hexas/Hexapotencia, Fanta “What The Fanta,” Google Crisis Alerts and Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga, SEAT “Rolling Young,” and Burger King “Burger Clan” (2017), for which bios credit a Cannes-winning installation and film. Additional evidenced advertisers include Wall’s, Almarai, Sun & Sand Sports, and HSBC. Awards mentions include multiple Cannes Lions (LBB: two Lions plus other statues; bios: three Lions tied to Burger King). They remain rostered at 1stAveMachine (US/London), with Camera Crew and henriandsebastian.tv / Vimeo (Madrid) presence.
