Hebru Brantley is a Chicago-born visual artist and filmmaker who directs through Prettybird while developing proprietary Flyboy IP under Angry Hero Entertainment. He studied film at Clark Atlanta University and worked production crews and storyboards in Atlanta’s hip-hop video scene before building a global fine-art practice—exhibitions across Art Basel, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and major U.S. cities—with collectors including LeBron James, Jay-Z, and George Lucas. Evidenced moving-image directing credits include the 2022 Netflix emerging-filmmaker short Erax (developed from an idea with his daughter), Pinterest’s “The Board Behind the World of Flyboy,” and the 2020 NBA All-Star Game film “Tip-Off Chicago Legends,” plus music videos such as Chance the Rapper ft. Saba’s “Angels” and Valee ft. Jeremih’s “Womp Womp.” Hollywood development includes a Sony Pictures Television blind script deal, Flyboy with Gigi Pritzker/Madison Wells, and features Kankakee (Point Grey/Lionsgate) and Hype (Peter Chernin). He signed with WME in 2020 after UTA. Widely cited Adidas, Nike, and Hublot ties read as artist/product collaborations, not confirmed director-of-record commercial credits. No major commercial-director award trail is evidenced.
