Harry Deadman is an Australian-born, London-based director and still photographer who moved from music studies in Adelaide into music videos, then branded film. His work is built on bold art direction, graphic pattern and scale, stylised performance, and story worlds that combine live-action, mixed media and VFX. Evidenced advertiser credits include On Running’s CloudStratus commercial (produced with CANADA London), Hendrick’s Gin’s written-and-directed “Cucumber Chronicles,” which preceded his Compulsory signing, and Malwarebytes’ Florence-produced “Protection You Can Trust” spots (Prince-ish and Ms. Clicks), framed as surrealistic cybersecurity comedy. He has also directed for Kodak and fashion house Labrum London (“wan neshiɔn”). Selbor’s “Your Love” won Best Comedy Music Video at the International Music Video Awards (2021), with further finalist nods at the Stockholm Independent Film Festival and the J Awards; still photography was an official selection for Portrait of Britain. Trade coverage describes a balance of comedy, drama and fashion with strong colour, framing and slightly absurd tone. He signed with Florence for the US and Compulsory for stills and film in Europe in 2023.
