Greg Hackett is a UK-based director working with Park Pictures in the US and UK. He entered commercial directing through a viral documentary about cycling 100 mph behind a Ford Zephyr, which led to an exclusive relationship with The New York Times Brand Studio where he directed over 30 branded films. In 2014, Hackett founded Spindle, growing it into a top-twenty UK production company before exiting in 2026 to focus solely on directing. His 2024 Adidas "Hey Jude" campaign, the emotional centerpiece of England's Euro 2024 tournament, earned a Frank Budgen Award nomination for Best Director and multiple Golds at Cannes Lions, the Clios, Creative Circle, AICP, Ciclope, and The One Show. His 2016 Sony "TKO" swept Gold for editing at Cannes, Ciclope, British Arrows, and Creative Circle. His Royal Navy "Submariners" won for sound design at Creative Circle and the Clios, while his music video for Loyle Carner's "Hate" took Best Performance honors at UK Music Video Awards, Creative Circle, and Kinsale Sharks. Coming from a band background before filmmaking, Hackett brings cinematic composition, authentic performance direction, and music integration instincts to work spanning commercials, documentaries, and music videos for clients including Adidas, Royal Navy, Sony, Philips, Vodafone, Canon, National Geographic, and Kingsford.
