Bio & background

Gabriel Moses is a London-based director and photographer of Nigerian-British heritage, working with DIVISION (France, US) and Concrete (London, Berlin). Born in 1998, Moses began directing at 18 when Nike hired him for his first commercial after discovering his YouTube football films. He has since directed campaigns for Nike (including the March 2026 England kit "Unveil" spot shot on 16mm with DP Jake Gabbay), Adidas, Apple, Google Pixel, Meta Glasses, Louis Vuitton SS24, Dior, Burberry, Off-White, Moncler, and Byredo. His 2023 Byredo "Bal d'Afrique" film won a D&AD Yellow Pencil in 2024 for its grounded, anti-elitist portrayal of everyday Nigerian life. Moses earned the 2025 UK Music Video Award for Best Director for work with Travis Scott ("Dumbo," "FE!N," "4X4"), Clipse ("Chains & Whips"), and Kendrick Lamar. At 21, he became the youngest photographer to shoot a Dazed cover (Pa Salieu). His editorial work appears in Vogue Italia, Harper's Bazaar, The Face, i-D, and The New York Times. A member of BoF 500 since 2023, Moses published the photography book "Regina" (Prestel, 2024) and staged solo exhibitions at London's 180 Studios. His short film "The Last Hour" was executive produced by Spike Lee. Moses shoots frequently on 16mm and Super 16mm film, drawing on Gordon Parks' humanizing portraiture and his South London roots.
