Felipe Gomez Aparicio is an Argentine director born in Buenos Aires in 1977, now based in Madrid as partner and director at Rebolucion Spain. He studied Film Direction at Buenos Aires' Centro de Investigación Cinematográfica before transitioning from independent features to commercials in 2007. His narrative-driven approach earned him a Bronze Lion at Cannes in 2008 for Pepsico's "Paso de los Toros" and a Silver Lion in 2009 for Quilmes "Cerveza Norte," which ranked as the fifth most awarded campaign globally in 2010. In 2015, he became the only Argentine director to win two Cannes Lions in film that year, for IKEA "Cookies" and CENCOSUD EASY "San Martin." He has directed for McDonald's, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Coca-Cola, IKEA, Netflix, Uber, and Dubai Tourism, filming across Europe, Latin America, the U.S., Russia, and Asia. His 2021 debut feature "The Perfect David" premiered at Tribeca and won Best Foreign Film at Montelupo. He has directed acclaimed Netflix and Amazon series, including "El Amor Después Del Amor," which earned ten Cóndor Awards and became a global top-ten Spanish-language series. Felipe is bilingual in Spanish and English.
