Erin Murray is a Los Angeles-based director and choreographer working with Florence in the United States and Academy Films worldwide. A former ballerina, Murray brings kinetic movement expertise to commercials, music videos, and short films. She has directed spots for CeraVe, United Airlines, Nike, Electrify America, Hers, CAVA, Pukka, Liquid IV, and Extra. Her CeraVe rom-com parody "The One Under The Sun"—developed by 72andSunny and shot by DP Sean Conaty—was shortlisted for a Young Director Award at the 2025 Cannes Lions. Murray's personal short "I Don't Need To Know" won Gold in Comedy at the 2024 1.4 Awards and was also shortlisted at Cannes Lions 2024. Her music video for Thao & The Get Down Stay Down's "Phenom" appeared in IndieWire's Best Music Videos of 2020. As a choreographer, Murray has worked with The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, Charli XCX, and Muse, plus brands including Selena Gomez x Our Place, Athleta, and Vans. Her work has been featured in Variety, Shots, The Verge, LBB, and earned multiple Vimeo Staff Picks. Murray is currently developing her first feature film.
