Declan Whitebloom is a London-born, Los Angeles–based commercial and music-video director represented in the US by Station Film. He entered the industry on sets with his elder brother Monty of Big TV!, then worked LA production departments and edited hundreds of music videos and commercials—including early Britney Spears clips—before directing. Music-video credits include Taylor Swift’s “Mean,” “Ours,” and the one-shot “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” plus One Direction, Demi Lovato, Rita Ora, Jess Glynne, The Fray, The Band Perry, and Sugarland. Trade press cites CMA Award wins for The Band Perry and Taylor Swift videos, further CMA and MTV VMA nominations, and a 2011 CMT Video of the Year for Sugarland’s “Stuck Like Glue.” He was used as a decoy “movie director” during Banksy’s Dismaland build and directed the 2022 AMC+ thriller Stowaway (Ruby Rose, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Frank Grillo). Advertiser work includes Google, Pepsi, Target, Fiat, Nissan, Toyota, Carl’s Jr, Spotify, Pinterest, Jardiance, Lipton, Big Lots, and PODS. Station’s reel highlights Jardiance (“Movie Night,” “Behind the Big Story”), Pinterest (“Erica”), and PODS (“Reppin Your Move”). Coverage frames bright song-and-dance and playful dialogue spots alongside heartfelt storytelling and an editor’s economical on-set approach. Path: RSA/Black Dog (~seven years), Concrete + Clay (2016), Station Film US commercials (Nov 2019).
