D.A.D.D.Y. is the long-running directing partnership of Irish filmmakers Mike Ahern and Enda Loughman. Across roughly two decades they have worked in commercials, music videos, and narrative film. On the commercial side, their 1stAveMachine reel includes Frosted Flakes “Spaceboy,” Belvita “Susan’s Morning Win,” Wells Fargo, National Lottery “Bahamas,” and Fáilte Ireland “Bedtime Stories,” a comedy- and performance-forward set spanning CPG cereal and breakfast, financial services, lottery, and tourism. Beyond advertising, they wrote and directed the horror-comedy feature Extra Ordinary starring Will Forte. The film premiered at SXSW, collected 15 awards including Best Irish Film from the Dublin Film Critics Circle, and has been developed toward a serialized extension. Instagram notes also credit them with directing season one of Chris O’Dowd’s series Small Town, Big Story. They have published the fact books 100 Facts About Sharks and 100 Facts About Pandas.
