Caleb Femi is a British-Nigerian director, writer, photographer, and poet based in London. He has directed branded campaigns for Louis Vuitton (including Virgil Abloh's final SS/22 runway presentation), Bottega Veneta, Mulberry, TikTok, EE, Converse, Johnnie Walker, and NCS. His 2024 EE campaign "Playdate" and 2025 multi-director EE "Family Life" (co-directed with Daniel Wolfe and Louis McCourt) won a British Arrows Gold in the John Webster Award category. He directed and co-directed music films for Sampha's 2024 album LAHAI, including live direction of Sampha's Alexandra Palace show. As a narrative filmmaker, Femi wrote and directed the short film Giraffe (2023), which premiered at Sundance Film Festival and was featured by NOWNESS. He has directed episodes of HBO/BBC's Industry (2022) and Netflix/BBC's Champion (2023). His debut poetry collection Poor won the 2021 Forward Prize for Best First Collection and was named Book of the Year by the Guardian, Financial Times, Observer, New Statesman, Rough Trade, and BBC. He served as London's first Young People's Laureate from 2016 to 2018. His photography has appeared in Louis Vuitton's Virgil Abloh coffee table book, Magma, and Dazed. He is represented globally by Somesuch.
