C.T. Robert is a director, photographer, and editor represented worldwide by Partizan for commercials, branded content, and music videos. Based bicoastally in the United States with a primary base in Los Angeles, Robert began his career in journalism and public broadcast, working at Vevo and NPR's Washington D.C. and New York offices as an early team member who helped bring Tiny Desk Concerts to market. This journalistic foundation informs his thoughtful approach to filmmaking centered on race, gender, and identity. His commercial clients include Nike, Google, Foot Locker, Vans, ESPN, Wingstop, SoundCloud, Patron, Clinique, and Pyer Moss. Notable projects include "Hip Hop Made Me" for Google, "FM Broadcast" for Nike, "Coney Island Walk" for Foot Locker x Vans, "Andscape" for ESPN, and "Flavor Combination" for Wingstop featuring Paige Bueckers. He has directed music videos for Grammy-winning artists including H.E.R., SZA, Saba, HitBoy, Lil Uzi Vert, and Kari Faux. Robert was inducted into Young Guns 21 by The One Club for Creativity in 2023 and selected for the SHOOT New Directors Showcase the same year. He was awarded photography residencies in partnership with Google and The Getty in 2023. Robert also edits and shoots his own work, and has experimented with VR including Nike FM programs.
