Bruno Aveillan (b. 1968, Toulouse) joined Quad Productions in 1995 after art-directing at Ogilvy and Publicis. He directed Louis Vuitton's first brand film, "Journey" (2008), scored by Gustavo Santaolalla, winning Clio Gold and London International Awards Gold. Cartier's "L'Odyssée de Cartier" (2012), a panther-led history film, won a Cannes Gold Lion and drew a mass global audience; companion "Shape Your Time" earned Cannes Film Craft recognition. Defining maison work also includes Shangri-La's "Wolves" (Spikes Asia Craft Gold), filmed with real wolves in the French Alps, and Guerlain's "Legend of Shalimar" with Natalia Vodianova and a Hans Zimmer score. Automotive credits include Peugeot 2008 "Instinct" (FIX CGI) and Renault "R5volution." Further reel spans Tiffany & Co. "A New York Minute," L'Oréal Paris campaigns with Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes and Natasha Poly, Lancôme "La vie est belle," Lanvin "Oxygène" (Gisele Bündchen's screen debut), 1800 Tequila, Magnum "5 senses," and a 2017 French Road Safety campaign that collected six Cannes Lions. A 2009 Musée des Arts Décoratifs retrospective at the Louvre surveyed his advertising films. He received Lifetime Achievement awards at La Jolla (2014) and Bokeh Fashion Film Festival, and was a 2016 Clio Film Technique juror. He is rostered with Believe Media (US) and Quad (Paris/Asia).
